The Indiana House Republicans called the 2011 legislative session, "One of historic challenges and accomplishments." Rep Rhonda Rhoads of Corydon said,” I am Proud of what we did.” I don't know what story book she was reading out of. TAXES were not supposed to be increased. Families were supposed to be empowered. Schools were supposed to be improved. Now my two houses had an increase in TAXES (about $200-400 more each) in two counties. I don't know how our schools got any better when Mitch took out $600 million out of the education fund in the past two years and is taking out more as we talk now. I ask you, are your TAXES going up or just staying the same? How about your schools and teachers? Are they going to lose their jobs soon? I plan to stop the millions from leaving the school fund by making a LAW that the Lottery money stays in the education fund. So future governors can't take it out for their usage somewhere else like their reserves, which look good to the public.
